WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

SKILL BUILDING WITH WENDY KREHBIEL, CNWI

Increasing Your Productivity as a Handler from NW1 to Summit !

This 2-day course focuses on the many facets of being a productive handler, learning and improving handler skills in multiple ways including
• covering your area
• knowing when your dog is done
• navigating a search with lots of time
• navigating a search with short time limit
• on-leash vs off-leash
• big vs small search areas

In this jam packed 2-day workshop we will take an in depth look at Handler Skill Building on day one with the second day building off of the first.

Workshop Format:

Both Saturday and Sunday workshops will consist of lecture, discussion and live demonstrations. Working teams will be used to demonstrate the concepts covered during the lectures. Teams of all skill levels are welcome, provided the dog is working on odor. Searches and strategies will be tailored to the level of the working teams.

Working/Audit Entries Available:

10 working spots will be offered on Saturday and Sunday. All spots will be chosen by lottery. You may only register to work one day or the other. If working spots do not fill, or space becomes available, we will have working spots for both days available.
