Welcome to Mountain Dogs  LLC. We provide professional canine sport training, experiential education and events in canine nose work scent detection for you and your dog.We are located in the Colorado Mountains in Eagle County offering  training classes, workshops, Odor Recognition Tests (ORT’s), Mock Trials, competition and certification trials and more, all sanctioned by the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW).  We have certified K9 Nose Work® instructors who actively participate in the sport, stay abreast of current teaching methods and objectives and follow closely the practices and updated teaching trends of NACSW.

 K9 Nose Work® allows us to develop an amazing bond with our canine companions and is suited to dogs of all ages, all breeds, all sizes and all characters. Whether young or old, fast or slow, shy or friendly, reactive or calm, rescue or raised from a pup, K9 Nose Work® builds the human canine bond beyond measure. K-9 Nose Work® is a great sport or activity for all dogs. Dogs have an amazing sense of smell and when coupled with their natural desire to hunt, we have Nose Work.  Developed by the National Association of Canine Scent Works (NACSW) in 2006 the sport of K-9 Nose Work is now the fastest growing dog sport in the world. Its a wonderful way to spend time with your dog having fun, building confidence and burning lots of mental and physical energy.

 This new and fun activity can be enjoyed by you and your dog at home, or if you choose, you can participate in K-9 Nose Work ® as a competitive sport. By contacting us, or any other Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI) you insure you and your dog a safe and productive way to learn the fun sport of Nose Work. We have mutliple NASCW sanctioned trials and events in Colorado each year and opportunities to volunteer or just observe happen almost monthly. Check with us for the latest class and even schedule.
